Job Summary: The Logistics Officer will be responsible for effectively managing all logistics activities related to importing and exporting raw materials and finished goods, machinery, including coordination with local and international suppliers, customs clearance, and ensuring compliance with Vietnamese laws and regulations. This position demands a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in logistics within the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Agency and Service Supplier Sourcing: - Identify and engage with suitable agencies and service suppliers to understand Vietnamese import and tax regulations. - Secure services that help minimize import duties and VAT for our materials. 2. Import Facilitation: - Find service suppliers that can import materials into Vietnam efficiently and cost-effectively, minimizing taxes and speeding up the process. - Communicate with overseas vendors and new service suppliers, such as forwarders and customs agents, to handle shipments. 3. Customs: - Liaise with local customs agencies and government customs officers to ensure smooth processing of shipments. 4. Transportation Coordination: - Arrange transportation from the port to the factory. - Organize transportation solutions within Vietnam to subcontractors and export ports. 5. Documentation Management: - Handle all necessary documentation related to shipments, including communications with vendors, customs agencies, and banks. 6. Other Duties: - Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor/line manager. Job requirements 1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 2. 02 – 03 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment or a logistics company serving manufacturing clients. 3. Understanding of the process of importing and exporting in Vietnam, including experience with customs regulations, international shipping protocols, and import duty taxes. 4. Good communication skills, with high proficiency in both written and spoken English. 5. Practical experience in handling logistics operations, with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. 6. Familiarity with Vietnamese laws and regulations related to import/export and tax duties. 7.
