POSITION: PROCESS ENGINEER (BOM SCRUBBING) Key Responsibilities: ● Create, review, and manage PCBA BOMs based on schematics, Gerber files, and design documentation. ● Ensure BOM accuracy by verifying component specifications, part numbers, and manufacturer data. ● Coordinate with design engineers to align BOM with PCB layouts and schematics. ● Interface with procurement and suppliers to confirm component availability, lead times, and cost. ● Maintain BOM versions and changes using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools or ERP systems. ● Perform cross-checks for alternates, obsolete parts, and recommend replacements. ● Support NPI (New Product Introduction) by generating and updating BOMs for prototype and pilot builds. ● Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to resolve component-related issues. ● Ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, and other regulatory standards. Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field ● At least 2-3 years of experience in process engineering and analysic BOM ● Strong understanding of electronic components and PCBA design principles. ● Experience with BOM management tools, PLM/ERP systems (e.g.,SAP). ● Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design software (e.g., Altium, OrCAD). ● Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills. ● Good communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities. ● Can read and understand technical document/technical drawing. ● Good communication English. ------------------------ POSITION: PROCESS ENGINEER (MANUAL SOLDERING) Key Responsibilities: ● Develop and optimize wave soldering processes for through-hole PCB assemblies. ● Set up and maintain wave soldering equipment (e.g., ERSA, Electrovert). ● Create and maintain process documentation including work instructions, solder profiles, and process parameters. ● Monitor and adjust soldering parameters such as conveyor speed, preheat temperatures, flux quantity, and solder pot settings. ● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to solder bridges, cold solder joints, poor wetting, or component damage. ● Ensure compliance with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) and customer requirements. ● Conduct process validation, capability studies, and root cause analysis. ● Manage solder pot maintenance, including dross removal, alloy checks, and contamination control. ● Work with the quality team to analyze defects and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs). ● Support training of operators and technicians in wave soldering best practices and ESD safety. ● Lead or participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). ● 2–5 years of experience in PCB assembly with specific expertise in wave soldering processes. ● Familiarity with through-hole technology, soldering materials, and flux chemistries. ● Strong knowledge of thermal profiling and solder defect analysis. ● Ability to read PCB layout drawings, BOMs, and work instructions. ● Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and process monitoring tools. ● Good understanding of quality standards such as IPC-A-610 and J STD-001. ● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. ● IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 Certification ● Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing Certification ● ESD Safety Training ● Good communication English
